Microsoft Teams: Auto Attendant PowerBI Reporting

In this blog post, I will describe how you can get reporting capabilities from teams auto attendant and call queue using PowerBI.

Requirements
Power BI subscription
Power BI desktop app (Microsoft Store) https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9NTXR16HNW1T
Power BI CQD Power BI Query Templates https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=102291
Teams Call Quality Dashboard (CQD)

Microsoft Teams Tenant Data Location

Get microsoft teams data location

Install-Module MicrosoftTeams

Connect-MicrosoftTeams
 
#Get your cqd data region
(Get-CsTenant).ServiceInstance
#Save the output

#Disconnect
Disconnect-MicrosoftTeams

Download the PowerBI CQD templates and move them to the following location.

Open PowerBI Desktop and choose the file „CQ and AA combined Analytics 20201105.pbit“

Select the region that matches your tenant location.

Now use your account with the sufficient permissions.

If you get the following error message, check the PowerBI Settings and uncheck the box of „Parallel loading of tables – Enable parallel loading of tables“

After reloading, it is now possible to view the reports.
